Yeshivat Tomchai T'mimim Chabad of Kiryat Gat is the first yeshiva that the Rebbe established in Israel. The yeshiva includes a number of institutions, including a yeshiva high school as well as junior and senior age yeshivas that all together number more than 500 students. In addition, there is a kollel, an institute for rabbinical ordination, a center for the dissemination of Judaism and more.
Since the yeshiva's inception 60 years ago, the staff's mindset is shlichut, while at the same time establishing a warm and personal relationship with every student. We produce Chabad shluchim (emissaries), Rabbis, educators and mashpiim (spiritual guides) of the next generation, doing so with our entire hearts. The headmaster of the yeshiva is Rabbi Moshe Havlin Shlita, who is also the head Rabbi of the city.
Registering Your Newborn Son To The Yeshiva - Congratulations!
the Chabad custom has been over the years to already register the newborn son in the Tomchei T'mimim Yeshiva immediately following the circumcision. It is a custom that assures Chassidic satisfaction from the children and whatever is good.

The new building
These days we are at the beginning of the construction of a new building for our yeshiva which will serve as a boarding school, dining room and library for about 500 of our dear students from the Holy Land and from all over the world.
Currently, dozens of students sleep in rented apartments and many more students want to join our meeting and due to lack of space we are forced not to accept them.
The building that will be built will be a very important solution for this for hundreds of our students who in the future, with God's help, will serve as holy rabbis and Chabad emissaries in Israel and around the world!
